Meet Molly: A Fun-Loving Babysitter Who’s Always Chasing Adventure

At Babysitting Queenstown, we're excited to welcome Molly to the team this winter. Originally from Cork, Ireland, Molly brings a fantastic mix of childcare experience, outdoor adventure, and a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and have fun.

Meet Molly

Molly recently arrived in Queenstown after making the move from Canada, where she spends part of the year working as a ski instructor.

Living a winter-to-winter lifestyle between Canada and New Zealand, Molly has built a life around the mountains and the outdoors.

"I'm a ski instructor from Ireland doing winter-to-winter between Canada and New Zealand. I love working with kids and helping them build confidence while having fun on the mountain."

Her friendly, easy-going personality and enthusiasm for working with children make her a wonderful addition to the Babysitting Queenstown team.

Extensive Experience Working with Children

Molly has worked with children in a range of environments, bringing valuable experience from both education and outdoor recreation.

Before becoming a ski instructor, she worked as an Early Years Educator in a Montessori preschool, supporting young children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

She has also spent several years teaching skiing to children of all ages and abilities, helping young skiers build confidence while developing new skills in a fun and supportive environment.

While she enjoys caring for children of all ages, Molly particularly loves working with children aged 3–5 years.

"I find that age group fun, curious, and incredibly rewarding to work with."

Molly enjoys creating experiences that encourage children to explore, imagine, and express themselves.

Moving between Canada and New Zealand each year means she gets to enjoy snow, skiing, and mountain life all year round.
